The NexStar SE Telescope Series from Celestron is a very popular choice for amateur or budding astronomers around the world and comes in your choice of four different apertures. The Celestron NexStar 4SE is the most portable, followed closely by the Celestron NexStar 5SE and 6SE. The largest in the NexStar SE line is the 8" model for those who want big optics for peering deep into space. Each of these fully computerized GoTo telescopes is available in at least one High Point Bundle.
The High Point NexStar SE Telescope Bundles for the 4SE, 5SE, or 6SE include a 1.25" Eyepiece & Filter Kit, a 7A 12V DC Power Supply by Celestron called the Power Tank, and the official Celestron AC Adapter for NexStar telescopes. With these telescope accessories, you'll have an amazing choice of magnifications and planetary filters for the utmost flexibility when observing. High Point has three bundles to offer for the Celestron NexStar 8SE; two of the standard NexStar 8SE Bundle, and the Professional NexStar 8SE Bundle. The difference between the bundles has to do with the accessories included. One standard NexStar 8SE Bundle comes with all of the accessories included with the 4, 5, or 6SE Bundle, but also includes a Celestron 1.25" UHC (Ultra High Contrast) Filter to help you see better by increasing contrast, which is especially helpful when under light-polluted skies, and a nifty Celestron Lens Pen, the perfect tool for cleaning optics of all sorts. The other standard NexStar 8SE Bundle includes a red flashlight, Barlow lens, lens pen, A/C adapter, and a moon filter.
The Professional Bundle for the Celestron NexStar 8SE includes the Power Tank and the AC Adapter, but instead of a 1.25" Eyepiece Kit, this kit includes the High Point Wide Angle 2" Eyepiece Kit for those who want to have the ability to use 2" eyepieces. The 2" Eyepiece Kit comes with a 2" diagonal, two 2" wide angle eyepieces, and one 1.25" wide angle eyepiece; all stored in an aluminum eyepiece carry case.
