With this bundle you will receive five great accessories to get the most from your NexStar 8SE. The Apertura Portable Telescope Power Supply allows for multiple hours of viewing in remote locations where an electrical outlet is unavailable. The Celestron 1.25" Eyepiece Kit includes five eyepieces, six filters, a Moon Filter, and a 2x Barlow lens which provides up to 10 different magnification options. The Apertura 12 Volt, 2 Amp Universal AC adapter allows the NexStar 8SE to be powered from a wall outlet--a great option when observing from the comfort of your backyard! With a combined weight of just over 30 pounds the Celestron Nexstar 8SE is easily one of the most portable systems around! When broken into its individual components the tripod and mount make up around 20 pounds and the optical tube assembly is around 12 pounds. With a large 8" aperture Schmidt Cassegrain optical design providing 2032mm of focal length, paired with the fully tracking Nexstar SE mount and tripod, you don’t need to choose between purely visual, or taking pictures of the night sky. Included in the Nexstar system is a 1.25" diagonal and 25mm plossl eyepiece providing you a full disc image of the Moon right out of the box! Replace the eyepiece with a planetary camera to begin taking fantastic images of Jupiter, Saturn and much more! Or get a 2x Barlow and see the planets up close with your eyes. Attach a proper solar filter and you can even view/image the upcoming solar eclipse in October 2023, and April 2024! About the Apertura Portable Telescope Power Supply
The Apertura Portable Telescope Power supply uses lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 155Wh to provide power to various observation accessories. Weighing in at about 3.5 lb., this power supply is extremely lightweight and easy to take on the road so you can observe the night sky anywhere without worrying about finding an external power source. The body of the Apertura power tank comes with both LED status indicators and an LED red-light flashlight. The flashlight has standard and strobe-light settings.
Celestron 1.25" Eyepiece and Filter Kit
The Celestron Plossl Eyepieces in this handy kit come with a 4 element design and have a 52 degree AFOV (32 mm has 44 degrees). The Celestron Plossl Eyepieces have superb color resolution, edge sharpness and clarity. All Celestron eyepieces in the Celestron Eyepiece and Filter Kit are fully-multicoated for maximum contrast and resolution. Supplied eyepieces are the 6 mm, 8 mm, 13 mm, 17 mm, and 32 mm focal length Plossl type. The 2x Barlow lens in the Celestron Eyepiece and Filter Kit compliments the Plossl eyepieces and gives you a total of ten power combinations. High grade glass optics with fully-multicoated lenses are used so there is no degradation of image. Included in this Celestron accessory kit are Kodak Wratten #12, #21, #25, #56, #58, and #80A filters. Since you have all the eyepieces necessary to study the planets and moon in detail, these filters will greatly enhance your enjoyment of our solar system. A neutral-density (ND) filter which allows you maximum enjoyment of the Moon, especially during its brighter phases. A sturdy and well-built case fits all of the above items in the die-cut foam interior and has room for additional accessories.
Apertura Universal 2 Amp AC Adapter
The barrel on one end of the cable is a 5.5 mm center-positive female plug that connects to the mount's DC input power jack. The connection is strong enough to help combat accidental cable pulls. This cable from Apertura is also compatible with other devices that require 2A @ 12V, as long as they use the 2.1 mm x 5.5 mm center-positive ac adapter tip. Please ensure that you have a compatible mount or piece of equipment before purchasing the Apertura AC adapter. Apertura's cable adapter delivers 2A @ 12VDC. This AC Adapter has a US Type A plug. If you are in doubt, check compatibility before purchasing the adapter.The Apertura AC2 power adapter is compatible with the following Celestron mounts: NexStar SLT Series, AstroFi Series, SkyProdigy Series, NexStar SE Series, and the NexStar Evolution Series.

This hard case from Apertura is the perfect bodyguard for your Celestron NexStar 8 SE or 6 SE OTA and attached single fork arm mount! Whether you are transporting the telescope from place to place or you are keeping it stored away in between your celestial observations, this hard case is built to keep your optics safe. Apertura has added several features to this case to make it a premier tool for protection and transportation. Not only is there custom cut foam for the Celestron NexStar 8SE or 6 SE OTA and arm, but there has been foam added to the inside of the lid to further protect the OTA and accessories that can fit inside.
Apertura Universal Tripod Case
Keep your telescope tripod or camera tripod clean as well as bug- and scratch-free by storing it in this heavy-duty tripod case from Apertura! The Apertura Universal Tripod Case is easier to carry than hauling around a tripod on its own. Just unzip the top (the end with the Apertura "A" on it) and slide your tripod in feet first. The standard measurement for this case is 28" long. If you need extra length, you can unzip the top OR bottom extension to reveal several extra inches of storage space. This brings the total length to 38" when fully extended! The tripod carry case comes with both a sturdy handle and a shoulder strap.
