Celestron 11-lb. Counterweight
for CGEM, CGEM II, and CGX Equatorial Mount
This Celestron 11 lb Counterweight is designed to fit the counterweight shaft of the CGEM, CGEM II, CGX, CG-5, or CG-4 (Omni) series equatorial mount. This counterweight will also fit the shaft of the Advanced VX Mount, but since there is a 12# counterweight available (94286) that will match the design of the counterweight that comes standard with the VX mount, we recommend you use that one instead.
Use this counterweight when you have a telescope and accessory equipment on the equatorial mount which requires additional weight, for correct balancing around the polar axis.
