Celestron 17-lb. Counterweight
for CGEM, CGEM II, AVX & CGX Equatorial Mount
This 17 lb Counterweight is designed to fit the counterweight shaft of the Advanced VX, CGEM, CGEM II, CGX, CG-5, or CG-4 series equatorial mount.
Use this counterweight when you have equipment on the equatorial mount which requires additional weight, for correct balancing around the polar axis. It slides onto the counterweight shaft and then locks into position with a heavy-duty knurled knob.
