This padded soft case by Celestron is designed for 11-inch SCT and EdgeHD optical tubes and other 11-inch OTAs under 25-inches in length. It will also work with the Celestron 8-inch RASA OTA. Featuring dense internal padding to safely house the tube assembly, and multiple zippers for easy access, this soft case is a great solution to store and carry your telescope. This padded soft case not only minimizes the risk of damaging your gear, but also allows you to carry everything in one unit with the built-in accessory pouch. It also has a padded shoulder strap and is crafted with ultra-durable and water resistant material to ensure comfort and safety. Crafted with Ultra-durable Materials
This case features internal polyester walls are lined with 16 mm-thick (0.63 inch) expanded polyethylene (EPE) foam to provide in-transit protection for optical tube. Internal straps provide further security. The outer shell is made of 900D (denier) polyester for weather resistance and features an embroidered Celestron logo. To compliment the external handles, a detachable shoulder strap is included for over-the-shoulder or hand grip portability. An external, hidden, zippered pocket with cinching straps allows for convenient accessory storage.
Telescope Compatibility
This case measures 27” x 15” x 15” on the outside, with interior dimensions of 24” x 14.25” x 14.25”. This case is compatible with most 11-inch optical tubes under 25-inches in length, including Celestron 11-inch EdgeHDs and Celestron 11-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain's. It is also compatible with the Celestron 8" RASA OTA. For all other telescope models, we recommend doing your own measurements to ensure the correct fit.
