ED Objective Lenses
Crafted with Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass objective lenses, the TrailSeeker 10x50 ED Binoculars provide exceptional optical performance virtually free of chromatic aberration (also known as color fringing). At 10x magnification, these binoculars deliver sharper and brighter up-close views of distant subjects. Thanks to the close focus of just 9.8 feet and wide 6.5° field of view, these binoculars are an ideal choice for viewing nearby birds, butterflies, plants, and more. Additionally, these binoculars have a wide 5 mm of exit pupil and 16.9 mm of eye relief, making them ideal for both daytime nature viewing and stargazing.
Dialectic & Phased Coated Prisms
The TrailSeeker 10x50 ED Binoculars feature fully broadband multi-coated optics that maximize light transmission across the entire visual spectrum. The high density BaK-4 prisms are finished with phase and dielectric coatings designed to significantly enhance optical performance. The phase coatings correct optical distortions, resulting in sharp, high contrast views. The additional dielectric coatings take these binoculars to a whole new level, enhancing reflectivity and delivering a noticeably brighter image.
Lightweight Magnesium Alloy Body
Featuring a lightweight magnesium alloy and fully waterproof body, the TrailSeeker 10x50 ED Binoculars are designed to withstand the harshest outdoor conditions. The internal chambers are filled with dry nitrogen gas to prevent internal fogging of the lenses. Weighing in at just 31.6 ounces, these binoculars are comfortable to use and easy to transport. With an adaptable IPD range and right-side diopter dial, these binoculars will mold to your viewing needs, and the twist down rubber eyecups protect your eyes while blocking stray light. They even feature a tripod adapter port. Simply unthread the Celestron logo cap and you'll gain access to a standard 1/4 20 receptacle which allows you to attach a tripod adapter and tripod (not included).
