Images viewed through this Celestron 15 mm Ultima Edge Flat-Field Eyepiece have outstanding sharpness, crispness, and clarity across the entire field of view, allowing you to see the complete picture. With fully multi-coated optics and a lens design consisting of 8 elements, light transmission is thoroughly maximized.
An ample 65° field of view makes this 15 mm Ultima Edge eyepiece ideal for stellar, planetary, or lunar surface imaging. Additionally, close-up views of smaller objects are enhanced due to this eyepiece's higher magnification.
Body
A unique rubber molding on the exterior provides a non-slip grip for more secure handling, even for those wearing gloves! Designed using high grade machined aluminum, the eyepiece body contains a black anodized surface. This 1.25" barrel eyepiece is suitable for use with 1.25" filters and adapters, as well as 1.25" star diagonals and focusers.
The combination of fold-down rubber eyecups and a long eye relief of 16 mm make observing through Celestron Ultima Edge eyepieces a comfortable experience for everyone, even those sporting spectacles.
Convenient Parfocal Design
Not only does this eyepiece's parfocal design allow you to spend more time observing and less time focusing, it also enables the exchange of Ultima Edge eyepieces, excluding the 24 mm version, without the need for refocusing.
