Track the Night Sky With Ease
Boasting four tracking rates, this iOptron SkyTracker Pro Camera Tracking Mount grants you with expansive creative freedom! Track the sky at 1X (sidereal), toggle 1/2X for capturing both the sky and your surrounding landscape, or capture the Sun (with proper protection) and the Moon with the solar and lunar tracking rates. As a bonus, this iOptron star tracker is equipped with a fifth tracking rate, the Quick Slew mode. This function enables rapid motion (up to 180X) in both forward and reverse to assist with quick reframing of your target. The 6.6 lb. (3 kg) payload offers compatibility with a host of DSLR and mirrorless cameras, lenses, and even some small lightweight telescopes.
Effortless Polar Alignment
In order to get the sharpest stars possible within your frames, equatorially tracking the night sky is a must. Fitted with both a polar scope and Alt-Az base, this mini equatorial mount aligns with Earth’s celestial pole, moving at a speed equal in magnitude but opposite in direction for a precise lock onto the night sky. The Alt-Az base can be adjusted from 30° to 65°, is suitable for both hemispheres, and comes equipped with smooth, precise adjustment knobs for fine-tuning your latitude and azimuth. A built-in bubble level is added for your convenience as well! Ensuring accurate alignment, the onboard AccuAlign dark field polar scope houses an etched, illuminated reticle. A total of 8 levels of brightness help you adapt this polar scope to your specific needs.
