Controlled Focusing
With the zero image-shift design for this Meade electronic focuser, you can focus without causing the image in the eyepiece or camera to shift or wobble. This feature is beneficial for both astrophotography and precision observations! It ensures that the celestial subject remains centered and stable. Stability is crucial when capturing long-exposure images or observing faint celestial objects. Even slight shifts can result in image distortion or misalignment, and the Meade Zero Image Shift Electronic Focuser helps combat this common problem.
Easy Installation
Installing the Meade Micro-Focuser is a straightforward process! Start by securing the provided adapter onto the rear cell port thread. Next, slide the micro-focuser onto the adapter and tighten the three (3) set screws. Once this is done, you can attach your diagonal and preferred eyepiece. If you wish to mount a camera directly to the micro-focuser, you’ll need to use a user supplied T-Adapter, which can be purchased separately depends on the camera being used. Finally, plug the coiled cord attached to the focuser into the Focus port located on the Computer Control Panel located on the Meade mount base.
