Quality Crafted and Built to Perform
The Pegasus Astro FlatMaster Neo 120 ensures your flat frames are of the utmost quality. Crafted with robust aluminum, adjustable in nature, and housing several unique feature such as a built-in light sensor, this flat-field generator is a welcome addition to your astroimaging kit! Read more below!
Solid Construction
Fitted with an adjustable lid, orient this Pegasus Astro FlatMaster Neo from 0° to 270° for perfect positioning! Also, there’s no need to worry about collisions, as a custom maximum opening angle can be set within software. Operation can be done remotely or with the onboard manual button for streamlined control. This lid accommodates telescopes with a maximum diameter of 120 mm (4.7”) for use with a host of imaging rigs.
Adjustable Brightness
With the Pegasus Astro FlatMaster Neo there is no need to fumble with adding sheets of paper or white linens between your scope and your light source when capturing flat frames, this all-in-one flat-field generator offers adjustable brightness to help you find optimal illumination! Light is provided by internal LEDs, offering brightness levels from 0-100%. Even when used with narrowband filters with slim bandwidths, the Pegasus Astro FlatMaster Neo easily supports short exposures (2-3 seconds at f/7) thanks to its wide range of brightness levels.
Oustanding Build Quality
Say goodbye to flimsy, unstable flat field generators, the body of this Pegasus Astro FlatMaster Neo is crafted with aircraft-grade aluminum! This premium material will ensure quality for years to come. A specialized silicon flange on the inside of the lid provides a tight seal for your 120 mm diameter telescope. This flange prevents light, dust, and moisture from entering your optics, acting as a robust cover for your scope during storage. If using within a shared observatory, the silicon flange helps prevent light from disrupting neighboring astrophotographers’ imaging sessions.
Key Inclusions for Next-Level Automation
On the device panel, an integrated dew heater warms your optics just enough to prevent dew from forming, ensuring no moisture gets trapped between the lid and your telescope before the lid is closed. This smart addition works in tandem with the onboard temperature and humidity sensors, adjusting the heat based on the calculated dew points. This feature can be disabled for manual control of the dew heater if desired. Also built-in is a light sensor, closing the lid automatically during sunrise.
Multiple Means of Control
Fitted with built-in WiFi, control to your Pegasus Astro FlatMaster Neo with connection to its hotspot or as a client on an existing network. The Pegasus Astro Unity Platform is a great choice for operation, while the ASCOM 7 and ASCOM Alpaca support enables use with a wide range of third-party software. Just one USB Type-C cable is needed for both power and PC connection, helping you keep your cable management nice and tidy!
