Adjustable Height Range
The tripod reaches 45-inches when fully extended and 25-inches when retracted. The total base footprint is 36-inches. A great way to extended your total height range is with a pier extension, such as the Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer Tripod Extension (sold separately). This pier extension is will provide an additional 8.5-inches to the total height ensuring you have plenty of room for larger equipment.
Equipment Compatibility
This Sky-Watcher tripod is designed for use with the Star Adventurer 2i, GTi, AZ-GT and AZ5 mounts from Sky-Watcher. It is also compatible with mounts that accept 3/8-inch threaded studs. The 3/8 threaded stud is secured in a spring loaded port that makes it easy to align your equipment. The pin style locking knob allows you to achieve a secure connection with ease.

How do you remove the tripod tray?
The tripod tray can be removed by rotating the tray clockwise or counterclockwise with a moderate amount of force (being careful to not bend the tray). Once the tray is unseated it can be easily be removed, allowing the tripod to fold up for storage and transportation.
How do you adjust the height of this tripod?
This tripod height can be adjusted by loosing the twist lock and extending the legs to the desired height. There is a bubble level on the top side of the tripod that allows you to quickly determine if the tripod is level.
