Starizona Nexus 0.75x Reducer/Coma Corrector
The Nexus from Starizona provides coma correction for Newtonian reflectors while providing a 0.75x focal reduction factor for a larger field of view and reduced exposure times.
The optical design of the Nexus, with extra-low dispersion (ED) glass, gives the coma corrector excellent performance while simultaneously reducing focal length. Designed to be parfocal, the Nexus does not alter the original focal point of the telescope and accommodates camera sensors up to APS format. Designed particularly for f/4 imaging Newtonians, the Nexus is compatible with Newtonians as fast as f/3.
With a 55 mm backfocus, the Nexus matches the requirements of most coma correctors, focal reducers, and field flatteners, allowing for DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, and most CMOS and CCD cameras. The Starizona Nexus features M48 threads on both the camera and telescope sides, with a standard 2" barrel to fit most focusers.
