The Tele Vue DeLite 9 mm Eyepiece has a beautiful 62º apparent field of view and 20 mm of eye relief. DeLite eyepieces combine the optical performance of the Ethos series and the comfort of the Delos body design. These optics come fully multi-coated, with anti-reflection coatings, and all air-to-glass surfaces. These corrections provide full field sharpness, exceptional distortion mapping, and color neutrality! The body incorporates a sliding eyeguard, allowing the soft rubber cup to be set at the ideal height, suiting the observer's preferences.

About the Optics!
Starting at a 62° AFOV allows the
freedom to increase eye-relief while controlling pupil aberrations. The
Delite design achieves color neutrality, virtually perfect distortion
mapping, and full-field sharpness. Using glass-matched multi-coatings and
anti-reflection surfaces throughout, image integrity is maximized with the
DeLite series eyepiece. Since the eyepiece lens measures a large diameter of
35 mm, stray light is prevented from entering your eye! This high-powered 9
mm focal length is ideal for detailed views of the lunar surface, Jupiter,
Saturn, and Mars. You will want to avoid large nebulous structures or giant
star clusters, or you would be limited to seeing only fragments of the
larger object.
A Series Full of Thoughtful Features!
The 9 mm
powerhouse weighs in at 0.5 lbs and is crafted of durable anodized aluminum,
designed to withstand years of enjoyment! Finishing with anodizing offers
this series a sleek appearance while maintaining a wear-resistant exterior.
Equipped with adjustable rubber eyeguards that allow the observer to
reposition at their ideal height. Indicator marks are provided on the
eyepiece body as reference guides for setting the perfect position. This
series is parfocal with other 1.25” eyepieces, and may only require minimal
to no refocusing. Furthermore, the eyeguards can also rotate for Dioptrx,
making these eyepieces suitable for astigmatism correctors. So, go ahead and
