About the Apertura 1.25" Barlow Lens
The Apertura 2x Barlow lens features fully multi-coated optics and is compatible with 1.25" eyepieces and filters. This means you can pair it with the eyepieces and filter included in this kit, but also 1.25" accessories. This Barlow is a great way to extend the functionality of all your eyepieces! And at 3.1-inches long, this Barlow has a low-profile, not adding excessive height to your focuser setup.
It is agreed that the most economical way to enhance the magnification range of your eyepiece collection is with a 2x Barlow lens. In addition to the multi-coated optics, the Apertura 2x Barlow has blackened lens edges, filter threads, and a secure thumb screw--a great value for the price! The body has a rubberized exterior for secure and easy gripping, and there is a thumbscrew that will help you secure the eyepieces to the Barlow.

About the Apertura 1.25" 32 mm Plossl Eyepiece
The Apertura 32 mm Plossl Eyepiece is a great medium to low-power eyepiece that delivers great views of the night sky! This Plossl eyepiece features four fully multi-coated optical elements in two groupings and blackened lens edges for crisp and clear viewing of the night sky! With a 52° field of view and comfortable 20 mm eye relief, this eyepiece will also accept 1.25-inch filters.

About the Apertura 1.25" Moon Filter
This Moon Filter from Apertura is just the thing for more comfortable (and rewarding!) viewing of the bright Moon. Adding this to your optical system is like putting sunglasses on your telescope eyepiece! In order to make the most out of your Apertura Moon Filter, simply thread onto the barrel of a 1.25" eyepiece or Barlow lens and then insert it into the focuser or diagonal as usual. You will be amazed at how lunar features, such as craters, maria, and mountains come into view when your eyes are not overpowered by the Moon's brightness. You can even use this Apertura Moon Filter for viewing Venus as well!
The Apertura 1.25" moon filter has been produced with high-grade optical glass and is anti-reflection coated to prevent glaring and ghosting. The green tint of the filter, along with 18% light transmission allows detailed views with increased contrast.
