The Super Wide Angle eyepieces from Apertura are designed to be a high-performing tool to assist you in your night sky adventures! The Apertura SWA15 eyepiece utilizes a 70° FOV, 15 mm focal length, and fully multi-coated optics to provide you with views that are certain to please!
Apertura has equipped this 1.25” eyepiece with several features to enhance your eyepiece experience. These features include adjustable eye cups, blackened edges, and anti-reflection threads. The threads are also compatible with 1.25” filters (not included). Adding this 15 mm eyepiece is a great way to provide a medium magnification option that is great for the planets, the Moon, and many different deep sky objects like nebulae, galaxies, and more.

High-Quality Optics
The Apertura 15 mm eyepiece has a five-element design with fully multi-coated lens with blackened edges. This SWA eyepiece comes with a 15 mm focal length for medium magnification and a 70° apparent field of view. The blackened edges of the lens help to reduce the influence of stray light and improve the view through the eyepiece. In addition to the blackened edges, the 15 mm eyepiece has anti-reflection threads that will help boost the contrast of your views.
Super Wide Angle Field of View
This SWA eyepiece has a 70° apparent field of view (FOV) for an enhanced, expanded view of the night sky. Using this eyepiece can get you a more immersive viewing experience through your telescope! The wide field will show you more of surroundings than that of an eyepiece with a smaller apparent FOV. Not only will you get wider views through this Apertura eyepiece, but manually tracking will be easier, as the object won't drift out of frame as easily!
Designed for Comfortable Viewing
The SWA 15 mm eyepiece is fitted with a high-quality adjustable twist-up eyecup for comfortable viewing. The adjustable nature of the eye cup means you can choose which height is most comfortable for you. The eyepiece comes with a 13 mm eye relief, which is comfortable for non-glasses wearers. Please note that those who wear glasses may not be able to see their full FOV with their glasses on.
