To calculate the magnification this 6 mm Plossl will produce in your telescope, simply divide your scope's focal length by 6. Then, to figure out the suggested maximum magnification for an observing session with normal seeing conditions for your telescope, multiply the aperture in inches by 40X to 50X. Compare the magnification this eyepiece will give you (first calculation) to the suggested max for your scope (second calculation) and make sure the number falls within that range to give you the sharpest views.

About the Optics!
The 4-element, full-coated optical lens design not only minimizes distortion
across most of the lens, but it also aids in reducing light glare,
subsequently enhancing contrast for better low-light performance. The
generous 52° Field of View (FOV) is a step up from the standard entry-level
options that are typically around 40°. A larger FOV gives a more spacious
appearance, as opposed to tighter views that can feel as though you are
“looking through a straw”. The blackened edges top off the lineup of
stunning optical features by further minimizing any stray light that
obstructs your observations.
