Apertura Adjustable Full Frame Flattener for 60EDR or 72EDR Refractors
The Apertura Adjustable Full Frame Flattener is a must-have accessory for any DSLR imager who wants the most out of their refractor! Designed specifically for the Apertura 60EDR or the Apertura 72EDR refractor telescopes, you will see improved quality across larger camera sensors.
The camera side of this flattener fits a wide M48 thread to accommodate a DSLR T-Ring (not included). The Telescope side is crafted with M54 threads to attach directly to the rotator present on the 60 mm or 72 mm EDR. To access the rotator threading, simply remove the end collar. This flattener is also equipped to hold any 2” threaded filters!

Back Focus Calculating
The Full Frame Flattener has approximately 5 mm of adjustability. The adjustment distances listed below assume a starting point of 55 mm, the standard thickness of a DSLR with a T-Ring. As a result, if you opt for an astroimaging camera instead of a DSLR, you will need spacers to reach 55 mm of back spacing. Next, simply adjust the flattener to accommodate the 60EDR or 72EDR.
