Simple Two-Step Connection
The Apertura Pier Plate accommodates both 3/8"x16 center stud and three M6x1.0 hole pattern mount connections. Connecting to your mount is simple, all you need to do is line the pier plate up with the mount base, install either the 3/8"x16 center stud or three M6x1.0 screws included to secure your mount to the pier plate, then simply tighten the screws with one of the included hex keys! After securing the plate to your strainwave mount, you'll have the freedom to quickly attach the mount to the Apertura Anchor - Pier. With the addition of a second or third pier plate, you'll be able to keep the adapter plate attached, effectively reducing the time lost when swapping between mounts.
Wide Compatibility
The Apertura Pier Plate is widely compatible with most popular strainwave mounts available today! From ZWO's incredible harmonic AM5N and AM3N to Sky-Watcher's Wave 150i and WarpAstron's WD servo series. These strainwave mounts can all be attached via the included M6x1.0 screws. A 3/8"x16 mounting stud is included to further expand your attachment options, giving you the option to connect a wide range of mounts and wedges.
