Simply adjust the padded smartphone clamp on either side of your phone, and tighten it to hold your phone firmly in place. The smartphone adapter from Apertura is made up of a combination of metal, plastic, and brass parts. The primary part of the adapter is made of a rigid metal for durability. The smartphone clamp itself is made with plastic with rubber sleeve to ensure the clamp "jaws" won't mar your phone while in use. The double "V" clamp portion of the adapter, which holds the eyepiece, utilizes a foam padding to protect your eyepiece while it is held in place. All adjustment knobs include a plastic cap for easy, tool-free use, and they are held in place with strong, brass inserts.
