Celestron Padded Soft Case
for 8" SCT/EdgeHD OTAs (not RASA)
This padded soft case by Celestron is designed for 8-inch SCT and EdgeHD optical tubes and other 8-inch OTAs under 16-inches in length. Featuring internal padding to safely house the tube assembly, and multiple zippers for easy access, this soft case is a great solution to store and carry your 8-inch OTA!
Composition of the Celestron Padded Soft Case:
The outer shell is made of 900D (denier) polyester for weather resistance and features an embroidered Celestron logo. To compliment the external handles, a detachable shoulder strap is included for over-the-shoulder or hand grip portability. An external, hidden, zippered pocket with cinching straps allows for convenient accessory storage.
The internal polyester walls are lined with 16 mm-thick (0.63 inch) expanded polyethylene (EPE) foam to provide in-transit protection for optical tube. Internal straps provide further security.
Celestron 8" OTA Padded Soft Case Compatibility:
This optical tube soft case is compatible with most 8" optical tubes under 18" in length, including Celestron 8" EdgeHDs and Celestron 8" Schmidt-Cassegrains. Not compatible with RASA-style optical tubes.
