Dew can quickly ruin a night of imaging, but there are ways to keep it at bay on all but the wettest of nights. Wrap this flexible dew shield snuggly around the end of your RC tube assembly to delay the formation of dew on your telescope optics.

While this case was created for another scope, it’s 36” length makes it a good choice for the 28.4” long iOptron RC10 OTA. The zippered heavy-duty soft case will protect your scope during storage or transport. A zipped pouch can store smaller accessories.

If you'd like to use this telescope for visual astronomy, you will need a diagonal. This upgraded 2” model slides into the back once the adapter included with the scope is attached and accepts both 2” and 1.25” barreled accessories. Buying a 2” diagonal instead of the standard 1.25” allows you to buy either size eyepiece or Barlow. Some of the best low power eyepieces have 2” barrels, so why not get a diagonal that can accept both?

This 15 mm Super Wide Angle eyepiece will produce 133X magnification when used in the iOptron RC10. If you also pick up a 2X Barlow, you’d be able to double the magnification of the 15 mm to 266X, which is near maximum on nights of good seeing.

This 20 mm Super Wide Angle eyepiece will produce 100X magnification when used in the iOptron RC10. If you also pick up a 2X Barlow, you’d be able to double the magnification of the 20 mm to 200X, great for the planets on nights of good seeing.

A 2X Barlow is one of the most popular telescope accessories available because it doubles the magnification of any eyepiece! Since this is a 2” 2X Barlow with a 1.25” adapter, it will work great with both 1.25” and 2” eyepieces, but does need a 2” diagonal or focuser to accommodate its larger 2” insert barrel. This electric focuser is made for iOptron Ritchey-Chretien telescopes that are mounted on an iOptron computerized mount.
