Move Shoot Move Ball Head
Solid and Smooth Adjustable Platform!
Find your perfect frame or align your gear with this highly adjustable accessory from Move Shoot Move! Designed with photography equipment and the ultra portable star trackers like the Move Shoot Move Nomad in mind, and compatible with some of today's smart telescopes, this accessory is a powerful add-on for a variety of setups. Give your portable astrophotography system or camera a smooth and solid platform, with the Move Shoot Move Ball Head!
Move Shoot Move's Ball Head is an excellent accessory for cameras and their mounts with its versatile design! Attaching this to a star tracker like the Move Shoot Move Nomad will allow you to adjust your camera's aim, allowing you to paint the picture you want — whether that be an expansive vista of the Milky Way overhead or a hybrid image that blends stellar dust lanes with landscape shots. Or if your tripod has limited adjustability, install the Move Shoot Move Ball Head to give your ultra portable star tracker or EQ mode compatible smart telescope up to 90° of angle adjustment and 360° of rotation! Made of sturdy CNC aluminum, this platform can hold up to 11 lb. of equipment which can be mounted in the Arca-Swiss style saddle or to the 1/4"-20 threaded plate included with the Ball Head. To mount this accessory itself, you simply need 3/8"-16 stud!
Easy Adjustability
Adjusting your framing or polar alignment using the Move Shoot Move Ball Head is simple! Unlocking the ball head can be done simply by turning the larger adjustment locking knob, freeing up head to swivel and tilt around 45° — or for even more angle adjustment, this can be set in the notched section for about 90° of adjustment. Loosening the smaller adjustment lock will give you 360° of rotation adjustment, which you can keep track of with the built-in rotation scale. Unlocking both of these together allows for a fluid framing adjustment experience, or unlock them one by one to refine your polar alignment altitude and azimuth adjustments! Once you're done, simply tighten the knobs back down to lock your adjustments in place.
Excellent Gear Compatibility, Robust Build
The Move Shoot Move Ball Head has been designed to be compatible with a wide range of photography equipment, star trackers, and even some smart telescopes, all while being smooth, compact, and sturdy!
Equipment Compatibility
The Move Shoot Move Ball Head
can easily connect DSLR and mirrorless cameras with the included 1/4"-20
Arca-Swiss compatible plate! This plate features a threaded stud that is
compatible with most photography cameras on the market, securely attaching
your camera either with a flathead screwdriver or simply with the tool-less
tightening ring. This plate is also capable of connecting to some popular
smart telescopes, such as the
Dwarf 3, or can be removed to connect other Arca-Swiss style equipment like the
Move Shoot Move Nomad
for adding polar alignment adjustability to a tripod with limited or no
range of motion. The ball head features a 3/8"-16 connection, allowing you
to mount this on standard photography tripods or excellent portable
platforms like the
Apertura V2 Compact Aluminum Tripod!
Solid Construction
The Move Shoot Move Ball Head is
made to be flexible when you need adjustability and solid when you don't! To
help make adjustments precise, the ball head has been damped —
smoothing out your movements to reduce sudden, jerky, motion and to help
hold your adjustment in place while you lock things down. Locking your gear
in place is easy with textured knobs that provide a firm grip, with
different sizing for each to make differentiating between the two simple
even in the dark! For a robust platform, Move Shoot Move's Ball Head has
been constructed out of light yet strong aluminum, CNC machined for a sleek
and precise finish. With this sturdy construction, this accessory can carry
up to 11 lb. of equipment making it perfectly suited for holding your camera
or as a polar alignment base for ultra portable star trackers and smart
telescopes!
