Stellarvue is snuggled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada in Northern California, and while life is quietly going on all around him, founder Vic Maris steadily works away at handcrafting some of the highest quality, telescope accessories available today. At any time of the day, one can find Vic Maris in his machine shop or optics lab, tweaking lenses or optical tube assemblies to his satisfaction. This dedication to providing amateur astronomers something he has helped make with his own hands has earned Vic quite a following, and we are confident that if you buy a Stellarvue eyepiece, you will become part of that following as well.

Stellarvue’s Ultra Wide Angle Eyepieces offer a massive 82° field of view, giving you an immersive viewing experience whether you are viewing the planets or deep-space celestial objects. This ample field is most appreciated when using manual alt-azimuth mounts. Each eyepiece in this set provides an eye relief of 12 mm and comes standard with a foldable rubber eye guard. All seven elements are fully multi-coated with blackened lens edges, lens barrel, and baffles. These elements combine to produce an eyepiece that displays sharp, extremely high contrast views without pesky reflections, flaring or ghosting. This makes these eyepieces ideal for high power image capture of planets and double stars.

However, if you are looking for top-of-the-line wide-field views, look no further than the Optimus Series eyepieces. The Optimus eyepieces each feature 9 lens elements in 6 groups. Each lens is fully multi-coated and their edges are blackened to stop internal reflections. There are also black baffles inside the eyepiece that reduce reflections, and to top it off, the interior of the lens barrels are painted black. All of these precautions result in an eyepiece that is free of ghosting, flaring, or unwanted reflections, giving you a beautiful, high contrast view of our Universe.

Be sure to look at all of the eyepieces Stellarvue has to offer. You will not be disappointed!
