The wide aperture and long focal length can be utilized for both astrophotography and visual astronomy—delivering bright views and stunning images. Weighing in at 20 lbs. and featuring a length of 22”, this not too big, not too small, telescope is large enough to collect copious amounts of light while still being manageable enough for transport. Thanks to the world-renowned craftsmanship from Celestron, this tried-and-true C9.25 is the perfect balance between light gathering power, portability, and ease of use!

Featuring a focal length of 2350, enjoy deep looks into the night sky. Also, this Celestron C9.25 offers 9.25” of aperture. That’s 1.34x the light gathering power of a 8” Schmidt-Cassegrain! To enhance the already outstanding performance, Celestron has furnished these optics with their patented Starbright XLT coatings. This coating formula allows an incredibly high percentage of light transmission to the camera or eyepiece. Subtle details on the Moon, the planets, faint galaxies, and nebulae are easily resolved. With its CGE dovetail bar, this C9.25 can easily be mounted on a wide range of equatorial telescopes for astrophotography applications. It can also be mounted atop altazimuth mounts for visual observing at night or as a spotting scope during the day. No matter how you choose to utilize these powerful optics, this Celestron C9.25 SCT helps you get the most out of every astronomy session!

Large 9.25" Aperture, Versatile Design
Through its 2350 mm native focal length and 9.25” of light gathering ability, this f/10 C9.25 opens the doors to a wide range of astronomy possibilities. These powerful optics can be used for both visual use and astrophotography, providing you with great versatility! If you’re a planetary or lunar enthusiast, the addition of a Barlow lens is a great way to get up close and personal with our celestial neighbors. Be impressed by the crisp detail on the Moon’s surface, the cloud bands on Jupiter, the rings on Saturn, and plenty more. If you’re a deep-space enthusiast, the C9.25 is wonderful for taking deep dives into the cosmos. Fill the frame with the Hercules Globular Cluster, the Trifid Nebula, and countless others. Wanting to expand the field of view and lower the focal ratio of this C9.25? Fitted with a removable secondary mirror, add the Starizona Hyperstar optical accessory in its place for wildly fast f/2.2 imaging!

Top-of-the-Line StarBright XLT Coatings
Consistently outperforming other coatings on the market is the patented Celestron StarBright XLT coatings. These coatings further elevate the performance of the C9.25, ensuring maximum light is transmitted to the eyepiece or camera sensor. Three components make up the StarBright XLT: (1) multi-layer mirror coatings comprised of quartz, titanium dioxide, and silicon dioxide, (2) multi-layer anti-reflective coatings made from magnesium fluoride and hafnium dioxide, and (3) high-transmission white water glass within the corrector lens. The result? An outstanding 97.4% average light transmission for impressive resolution of detail!

Super-Charge Your C9.25 With a Myriad of Upgrades
If you’re wanting to elevate your C9.25 experience even further, a wide range of accessories are available to pair with this telescope. Wanting to widen your field of view? The addition of the f/6.3 Focal Reducer offers just this! Simply attach this device to the back of your C9.25 and bring the native focal ratio of f/10 and focal length of 2350 mm down to f/6.3 and 1480 mm. Assisting with dew is the 9.25” Dew Heater Ring. This accessory warms the front corrector plate just enough to prevent pesky dew from ruining your night of observing. With installation of the Apertura Ultimate SCT T-Adapter camera attachment is a walk in the park! Not only does it include a flared flange for increased stability, camera rotation abilities, and effortless accessory integration, but it’s also the only T-adapter on the market compatible with the popular ZWO 2” filter drawer.
