THE INDUSTRY'S BEST TELESCOPE AND ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY EXPERTS
Look, we get it. Stating that we’re the “best” can seem a bit like a catch. However, with a combined astronomy experience of over 115 years (117 to be exact), our team of telescope and astrophotography experts, a.k.a. "Gear Experts", knows astronomy and how to service our customers.
We know how to narrow down the products that best fit YOUR needs, rather than push something simply because it’s easy. Once we’ve done that, we ensure you understand WHY we’re recommending the product by teaching you the concepts behind the product and in the process, we demystify all the terminology. Leaving you with confidence knowing you are making the right decision and one that is perfect for you and your goals of viewing the night sky!
Our knowledge is only surpassed by our passion for this wonderful hobby we all love so much. We truly believe our team is a cut above the rest and we look forward working with you!
NON-COMMISSIONED PRODUCT ADVISORS
Our team of product advisors know what it’s like to buy astronomy equipment for the first time. There are so many types of telescopes and accessories that the process can be overwhelming enough without having to worry about pushy salespeople trying to make a big commission.
That’s why our unbiased, non-commissioned product advisors’ only incentive is to recommend a product that they truly believe is the right choice to help you meet your goals, and at a price point that also meets your budget. There’s never any pressure to buy, and you can rest assured that your recommendation is personalized for you rather than motivated by financial gain. We look forward to helping you start your astronomy journey!

Recommended Accessories

Apertura 2x 1.25" Barlow
A 2X Barlow is one of the most popular telescope accessories available because it doubles the magnification of any 1.25” you use with it! For instance, the CPC925 comes with a 40 mm eyepiece. Without the 2X Barlow, the eyepiece will produce 59X. However, when the 40 mm is used with the Barlow, you'll enjoy 118X magnification. For every eyepiece you buy thereafter, you will get two magnification options instead of one!

Apertura Universal 5 AMP AC Adapter
Run your CPC925 telescope off of AC power with this 5-amp adapter from Apertura. Plug one end into a US wall outlet and the other end into the mount’s power port for a sturdy connection. Saves batteries when you’re near an AC power outlet!

Apertura Super Wide Angle 15 mm 70° 1.25" ...
The Celestron CPC925 comes with a 40 mm eyepiece, giving you a magnified view of 59X. We are offering this 15 mm to give you some higher magnification choices. It has a 1.25” barrel and provides 156X magnification. If you also pick up a Barlow lens, it will double the magnification of the 40 mm eyepiece to 118X, and the 15mm will double to 313X, which is just about maximum power for most nights.

Celestron PowerTank Lithium Pro
Strap this Lithium power supply to the tripod leg of your CPC925, plug the included cable in and power your telescope for hours! This portable device has two USB ports to also charge your smartphone or tablet and is perfect for emergency power as well. LED light panel on one side adds illumination where you need it.

Celestron SkyPortal WiFi Module
The CPC mount comes with a corded hand controller, but if you’d like to use your smartphone or tablet to wirelessly control your telescope, then you’ll need the SkyPortal WiFi Module! Just load the free Celestron SkyPortal app onto your device, plug the WiFi module in, connect your Apple or Android smart device to the signal the module generates, and start observing!
