This Orion Observer 90EQ Refractor Telescope Kit is features a classic doublet refractor with a fully coated 90mm (3.5") objective lens. It has a focal length of 900 mm, and a focal ratio of f/10, meaning you'll enjoy sharp views of our Moon, as well as larger planets like Jupiter and Saturn. It comes with two Plossl eyepieces, as well as a 90° star diagonal that will provide a more comfortable viewing experience. At a moderate 36x power, the 25mm eyepiece shows wide views of the night sky, making it perfect for observing expansive objects like the famous Pleiades Cluster (M45). If you want to catch a glimpse of Jupiter and it's most prominent companions, or Saturn's dazzling rings, swap in the 10mm eyepiece and objects will appear nearly three times as larger than with the 25mm eyepiece! This telescope kit also comes complete with a durable German equatorial mount with a 4 lb. counterweight, (2x) slow motion control knobs, and a sturdy aluminum tripod with a snap-in accessory tray.

This telescope kit comes with a fully coated, 90 mm doublet refractor, which offers up excellent views of the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, and bright deep sky objects like the Hercules Globular Cluster (M13). At a focal length of 900 mm, this refractor is perfect for exploring a broad range of celestial sights, and the f/10 focal ratio means stars and other bright objects, such as the Moon, will appear sharp and vivid, making it easy to clearly identify craters across the dusty lunar surface.
Classic EQ Mount!
This 90mm Refractor comes with a German equatorial mount, which allows for smooth and precise tracking of the night sky. It rests atop a durable, yet, lightweight, aluminum tripod, that comes equipped with a snap -in accessory and eyepiece tray. The included tube ring and bracket attaches to a sturdy vixen style dovetail mounting system, making it easy to quickly lock the OTA in place. It also includes a 4lb counterweight and 8" counterweight shaft, which work alongside the (2) slow motion control knobs to provide precise and fluid viewing experience.

This Orion Observer 90EQ Refractor Kit comes with (2x) 1.25” Plossl eyepieces, a 90° star diagonal, and a sleek 6x30 crosshair finder scope and bracket that matches perfectly with the OTA. With two eyepieces to choose from, you'll be able to explore large and small celestial objects, but when paired with a Barlow (sold separately) like this Apertura 2x 1.25" Barlow, you'll have twice as many magnifications to choose from. The 1.25 rack and pinion focuser makes it easy to hone in on the fine details of the lunar surface, and the 6x30 finderscope includes crosshair for effortless target locating.
