Elevate Your Stargazing Experience
With a Sky-Watcher Dobsonian telescope, you’ll become more than an observer of the cosmos; you'll actively engage in locating objects and feel the thrill of discovery. Learn more about this telescope below!
10-inches of Light Gathering Power
This Classic Dobsonian uses a parabolic primary mirror design, constructed of borosilicate, then polished and coated with our proprietary Radiant™ Aluminum Quartz producing a remarkable 94% reflectivity. With an 10-inch aperture, the Classic 250P Dobsonian is 56% brighter than the Classic 200P Dobsonian! This simple yet effective design is perfect for visual observation of faint objects, such as nebulae, star clusters, and galaxies.
Smooth Rocker Box Base with Tension Control Handle
This Dobsonian telescope comes with an enhanced rocker box base that includes Sky-Watcher's signature Tension Control Handle! This innovative improvement on the classic design allows you to easily add or reduce tension with a simple twist of the handle. This means the optical tube doesn't need to be balanced in order to stay in position. The tension adjuster can be tightened such that the optical tube can stay in a position but can still be moved when prompted to adjust the position of the optical tube. Alternatively, the tension adjuster can be completely tightened to lock the optical tube in position.
Included Accessories
This Dobsonian telescope comes equipped with many great accessories to make observing the night sky fun and exciting, such as the 1.25" adapter which allows you to use either 1.25" or 2" eyepieces. It also comes with two 1.25-inch super eyepieces (12.5 mm & 20 mm) and a full size 8x50 finder that facilitates quick and easy object targeting!

Yes, the Sky-Watcher 250P is a reflector telescope that requires occasional maintenance, such as collimating the primary and secondary mirrors.
