Telescopes are amazing tools. Not only do they allow us to see distant objects that lie beyond the reach of our eyes, but they can also reveal details on objects that would otherwise remain unseen. It’s no exaggeration to say that telescopes have literally revolutionized the way we look at the universe.

The reflector is one of the classic designs for a telescope. The reflector telescope was first conceived by Sir Isaac Newton (hence “newt” in Newtonian), who first conceived of the idea that mirrors can be used to create a magnified image in the same way that a lens could.
