Celestron AstroMaster 102AZ Included Accessories
Celestron's AstroMaster 102AZ Refracting telescope comes ready to perform straight out of the box. The included accessories offer amateur astronomers a chance to dip their toe into exploring the night sky without searching for additional accessories. The 4" OTA, alt-azimuth mount, and tripod are accompanied by two 1.25" eyepieces, 20mm and 10mm. These eyepieces are a great way to try out low and medium power views. Whether you want to explore craters on the Moon or see the Orion Nebula in all of its glory, these eyepieces have got you covered.
The AstroMaster 102AZ telescope also comes with a built-in red dot finder, which will help guide you as you manually track and locate objects.
With the included tripod tray, you can have a safe place to put the accessories not currently in use. It is a great relief to know that your eyepieces and other telescope accessories are so close, and you can keep a better eye on them so they do not fall or get scratched.
The 102AZ also comes with a 1.25" 90° Erect Image Diagonal. This accessory makes the AstroMaster 102AZ a dual purpose telescope! Using this special diagonal, which makes sure the image you see is right-side up, astronomers can turn their sights to daytime viewing as well as observations of the cosmos!
The focuser on the AstroMaster refractor is a single-speed, Rack & Pinion style focuser. Made with Celestron's high-quality materials, this focuser will help maintain your precise focus, so there is no slippage during the movement of the mount.
