The Celestron AstroMaster 90 AZ Telescope is a doublet refractor with a 90 mm aperture and 1000 mm focal length. This classic telescope sits on a streamlined "alt-azimuth" mount and tripod which comes pre-assembled, so no tools are needed to set up on your first night under the stars. Simply lock the telescope tube in place using the quick release dovetail system and you'll be ready to begin your explorations of the night sky. This AstroMaster 90 AZ also comes with two 1.25" eyepieces (20 mm & 10 mm), a 1.25" erect image diagonal, a snap in accessory tray, and a Starpoint LED guided finder scope. In addition to these accessories, you'll also receive a copy of Celestron's Starry Night Software, a digital planetarium where you can learn about the night sky, celestial objects, and how to plan your next observation session.

90 mm Aperture
With a 90 mm aperture and a focal length of 1000 mm, this f/11 doublet refractor allows you to enjoy beautiful views of many objects that decorate our night sky. When using the 10 mm eyepiece, you'll have an excellent view of our Moon and its luminous surface. With the 20 mm eyepiece, larger objects like the Hercules Globular Cluster will be neatly framed in your view. Thanks to the quick set up of the highly portable alt-az mount, you'll be able to make the most of your time out under the stars.
Reliable Mount & Tripod with Accessory Tray
The "AZ" in AstroMaster 90 AZ stands for "azimuth" which references the streamlined alt-azimuth mount the telescope rests on. Alt-azimuth mounts are known for their unmatched ease of use and portable design. This Alt-azimuth mount and tripod comes pre-assembled, so you won't need any special tools to set up. Getting ready for your first night under the stars is a breeze! Just extend the tripod legs to a comfortable viewing height and slot the telescope tube in place using the quick release dovetail system. The included tripod has 1.25” diameter legs can be lowered or raised via a simple locking knob located on each leg. It also comes with a multipurpose spreader bar which works to keep the mount stable while also holding your eyepieces and accessories.

The AstroMaster 90 AZ also comes with two 1.25" eyepieces (20 mm & 10 mm), a 1.25" erect image diagonal, a snap in accessory tray, and a StarPointer LED guided finder scope, which allows you to quickly target and center objects in the eyepiece. The two included 1.25” eyepieces are threaded to accept standard 1.25" filters, so if you choose to purchase a filter set like the Apertura Moon & Planetary Filter Set (not included) you'll be able to enhance your views of the night sky. The 1.25” rack & pinion focuser makes it easy to dial in the focus so you can enjoy exceptionally sharp views. In addition to these accessories, you'll also get a free download of Celestron's Starry Night Software, a digital planetarium where you can learn about the night sky, celestial objects, and how to plan your next observation session.
