Sky-Watcher 10" Flextube SynScan GoTo Collapsible Dobsonian
Effortlessly Explore Deep Sky Sights with this Innovative Dobsonian Telescope from Sky-Watcher!
Boasting 10-inches of aperture and a Radiant™ Aluminum Quartz coated primary mirror, the Flextube 250P is your window into the deep reaches of outer space. This computerized Dobsonian telescope delivers the performance of a traditional Dobsonian with the convenience of computerized "Go-To" tracking, allowing you to effortlessly explore deep sky galaxies, nebulae, star clusters, and so much more!
Sky-Watcher’s Flextube Dobsonians are incredibly portable despite boasting massive apertures! Unlike a traditional truss tube telescope, these collapsible telescopes feature a highly convenient retractable truss rod system that allows the optical tube to quickly collapse down for transport and storage. Beyond the innovative and portable design, these telescopes also provide the convenience of a computerized "Go-To" telescope, all without diminishing the intuitive nature of a traditional Dobsonian. With the SkyScan Pro app or the included SynScan AZ hand control, you'll be able to automatically slew to over 42,900+ objects after a simple two-star alignment, and the patented dual encoder rocker box design lets you instantly switch between automated and manual control without needing to re-align the mount! Included with this full-featured Dobsonian telescope are two 1.25-inch eyepieces (12.5 mm & 20 mm), as well as a full-sized 9x50 finderscope!

With a fast f/4.7 focal ratio and 1200 mm focal length, this telescope is perfect for those who want to peer deep into the cosmos and explore faint deep sky objects. Thanks to the collapsible design, the large optical tube is easy to set up and transport to dark sky sites. Simply retract the truss rods and the 44-inch optical tube will collapse down to a mere 31.5-inches.
Computerized Rocker Box Base with Freedom Find Technology
This Dobsonian telescope comes with an innovative rocker box base that provides the convenience of a computerized "Go-To" telescope, all without diminishing the intuitive nature of a traditional Dobsonian. This adaptable design is made possible by the joining of two powerful Sky-Watcher technologies: SynScan & Freedom Find. Freedom Find Technology is a patented dual encoder system built into the computerized rocker box base. This allows the mount to keep track of the optical tubes position, even when in the manual control mode. This means you can effortlessly switch between manual and automated tracking, all without re-aligning the mount. For automated control you'll have the option to use either the included SynScan hand controller, or the SynScan Pro app (available for iOS & Adroid smart devices). The SynScan database contains over 42,000 objects, meaning you'll be able to effortlessly select any object listed in the catalogue and the telescope will automatically slew to the correct position and begin tracking!
