A Schmidt-Cassegrain With Serious Light Gathering Power!

Built for those seeking the aperture needed to elevate their astrophotography game is the Celestron C11 Schmidt-Cassegrain! This C11 produces bright, crystal clear images on a multitude of celestial objects thanks to its long focal length and large aperture. While wonderful for astrophotography, be stunned by the incredible detail presented within your eyepiece when used for visual astronomy. Not only is the light gathering power impressive, but the robust, yet lightweight frame provides heightened durability while still being manageable enough for trips to dark skies. This flagship OTA is a fan favorite amongst many within the astronomy community and is sure to take your astrophotography or visual observations to new heights.

Featuring a focal length of 2800, the C11 provides deep looks into the night sky. Also, the 11” of aperture offers 1.41x the light gathering power of a 9.25” Schmidt-Cassegrain! To enhance the already outstanding performance, Celestron has furnished these optics with their patented Starbright XLT coatings. This coating formula allows an incredibly high percentage of light transmission to the camera or eyepiece. Subtle details on the moon, the planets, and faint galaxies and nebulae are easily resolved. With its CGE dovetail bar, this C11 can easily be mounted on a wide range of equatorial telescopes for astrophotography applications. It can also be mounted atop altazimuth mounts for visual observing at night or as a spotting scope during the day. No matter how you choose to utilize these powerful optics, this Celestron C11 SCT helps you get the most out of every astronomy session.

Large Aperture, Versatile Design
Through its 2800 mm native focal length and 11” of light gathering ability, this f/10 C11 opens the doors to a wide range of astronomy possibilities. These powerful optics can be used for both visual use and astrophotography, providing you with great versatility! If you’re a planetary or lunar enthusiast, the addition of a Barlow lens is a great way to get up close and personal with our celestial neighbors. Be impressed by the crisp detail on the Moon’s surface, the cloud bands on Jupiter, the rings on Saturn, and plenty more. If you’re a deep-space enthusiast, the C11 is wonderful for taking deep dives into the cosmos. Fill the frame with the Crab Nebula, the Ring Nebula, and countless others. Wanting to expand the field of view and lower the focal ratio of this C11? Fitted with a removable secondary mirror, add the Starizona Hyperstar optical accessory in its place for wildly fast f/1.9 imaging!

Top-of-the-Line StarBright XLT Coatings
Consistently outperforming other coatings on the market is the patented Celestron StarBright XLT coatings. These coatings further elevate the performance of the C11, ensuring maximum light is transmitted to the eyepiece or camera sensor. Three components make up the StarBright XLT: (1) multi-layer mirror coatings comprised of quartz, titanium dioxide, and silicon dioxide, (2) multi-layer anti-reflective coatings made from magnesium fluoride and hafnium dioxide, and (3) high-transmission white water glass within the corrector lens. The result? An outstanding 97.4% average light transmission for impressive resolution of detail!

Super-Charge Your C11 With a Myriad of Upgrades
If you’re wanting to elevate your C11 experience even further, a wide range of accessories are available to pair with this telescope. Wanting to widen your field of view? The addition of the f/6.3 Focal Reducer offers just this! Simply attach this device to the back of your C11 and bring the native focal ratio of f/10 and focal length of 2800 mm down to f/6.3 and 1764 mm. Assisting with dew is the 11” Dew Heater Ring. This accessory warms the front corrector plate just enough to prevent pesky dew from ruining your night of observing. With installation of the Apertura Ultimate SCT T-Adapter camera attachment is a walk in the park! Not only does it include a flared flange for increased stability, camera rotation abilities, and effortless accessory integration, but it’s also the only T-adapter on the market compatible with the popular ZWO 2” filter drawer.

Discover the Inclusions
Setting you up for success, Celestron has equipped this C11 package with essentials for use right out of the box! Adjoin this C11 to a wide variety of telescope mounts with the CGE (Losmandy) style dovetail bar. Also included is a 40 mm 1.25” eyepiece which offers 70x magnification. This provides views of the entire disk of the Moon, Thor’s Helmet Nebula, the Whirlpool Galaxy, and plenty more. You will also find a 1.25” star diagonal within this package for heightened comfort while viewing. To make finding objects a breeze, the included 9x50 affixes to the top of this C11.
