The Celestron Omni XLT 150 EQ Telescope features a large, 5.9" aperture, and 750 mm focal length. Boasting bright f/5 optics finished with Celestron’s signature StarLight XLT coatings, this telescope will provide brilliantly sharp, high-contrast views for many years to come. This powerful reflector is paired with the durable CG-4 equatorial mount, which comes pre-assembled, so no tools are needed to set up on your first night under the stars. Simply attach the sturdy steel tripod to the base of the mount head, thread the latitude locking screw to the back of the mount, attach the counterweights, then lock in the OTA within the tube rings and quick release dovetail system. After attaching the telescope, you just need to roughly align the mount to your latitude and nearest polar axis, and in less than five minutes you'll be smoothly traversing the night sky with the two included slow motion control knobs. The Omni XLT 150 EQ also comes with a fully multicoated 1.25" eyepiece (25 mm), 2" to 1.25" eyepiece adapter, and a 6x30 finderscope.

150 mm Aperture
With a 150 mm aperture and a focal length of 750 mm, this f/5 Newtonian reflector brings you brilliant views of the countless objects that decorate our night sky. CG-4 Polar Axis Finder
With this powerful accessory item, You'll have no trouble polar aligning your CG-4 mount! Simply install the finder into the polar finder port, located at the rear of the mount, and focus the eyepiece until the reticle is sharp. With easily identifiable star patterns of the Big Dipper, Cassiopeia and Octans etched into the reticle, as well as Polaris and the North Celestial Pole, this Polar Axis Finder will speed up your set procedure significantly. As a result, you can spend more time observing and less time setting up!
Sturdy Mount & Tripod
German equatorial mounts are designed to smoothly track objects across the night sky, and the famous CG-4 EQ mount that comes with this telescope is built with durable ball bearings in both axes which facilitate fine and accurate maneuvers. This mount even comes pre-assembled, so you won't need any special tools to set up. Just attach the included tripod to the base of the mount head, thread the latitude screw to the back of the mount head, and attach the counterweights. Then it will be ready for your Omni XLT 150 optical tube! After the quick set up procedure, you'll just need to roughly polar align the mount to your nearest polar axis and latitude, then you'll be ready to smoothly traverse the night sky. The adjustable metal tripod that comes with the CG-4 has sturdy 1.75” diameter legs can be lowered or raised via a simple locking knob located on each leg. It also comes with a multipurpose spreader bar which works to keep the mount stable while also holding your eyepieces and accessories.
